Itinerary:
DAY 01. ARRIVAL JAKARTA
Arrival Jakarta. Meet and greet by tour guide and our staff (afternoon / evening arrival). Direct transfer to hotel.
DAY 02. JAKARTA CITY TOUR (BL)
Breakfast at hotel. Depart Jakarta city tour visiting Taman Fatahilah museum, Sunda Kelapa Old Harbor, Old Jakarta / Batavia and Chinese area at Glodok. Lunch served at local restaurant. upon completion, return to hotel and free program.
DAY 03. JAKARTA – PUNCAK – BANDUNG (BL)
After breakfast and check out from hotel. Depart to Bandung city pass through Puncak area, which is famous for its’ beautiful landscape and vast green tea plantation with refreshing mountain atmosphere. Frequent stops and photo takings are very possible to do when transit at this area. If you wish, you can take Tea Walk at Gunung Mas plantation. After lunch, continue drive to Bandung. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Free program.
DAY 04. NOTHERN BANDUNG TOUR (TANGKUBAN PERAHU VOLCANO – CIATER HOT SPRING) (BL)
Have breakfast at hotel. Drive to Mt. Tangkuba Perahu to see Ratu Crater. Next, drive via Lembang area, stop by and pay visit to milk manufacturing center before reaching Ciater Hot Sprimg. Ciater is an area to enjoy the warmth of sulphurous water which is good for skin medication. Finished the tour, back to Bandung city. On return to hotel, several photo stops will be offered at places such as Merdeka Building - a place of Asian-African Conference in 1955, Geological Museum which kept ancient objects such as Java Man fossil, etc. Sate Buiding, a central of west Java Province Government, which build in 1920 by the J. Gerber Architect with the Italian Architecture style of Renaissance period, Spain and Siam. West Java Struggle Monument (photo stop) that stand opposite with Sate Building. And last, shopping to many Factory outlet, around R.E. Martadinata street.
DAY 05. BANDUNG - YOGYAKARTA By Train (BL)
Breakfast and lunch served in box. Check out from hotel and with guide transfer to Bandung train station for taking morning train to Yogyakarta. (Train name: Lodaya. Class: Executive. Leaves: 08.00 – 15.20). Afternoon arrive at Yogyakarta, transfer to hotel. Free program at your leisure.
Note:
- Trip by train from Bandung to Yogyakarta takes approx. 8 hours. For lunch, it is recommended to order from hotel in Bandung before departure.
- Suggestion for evening activity: Start experience your first day visiting Yogyakarta (if it is not too exhausting), by having dinner out and wathing Ramayana Ballet performance at Prambanan open theater or Purawisata theater.
DAY 06. BOROBUDUR – DIENG PLATEAU TOUR – YOGYAKARTA (BL)
Morning after breakfast or earlier at 06.00 depart 42 km to the NW of Yogyakarta to visit Borobudur. A UNESCO world heritage site. 8th century Buddhist monument, the world’s largest. 7 terraces to the top represent the steps from earthly realm to Nirvana. Reliefs depicting the birth, enlightenment and the death of the Buddha. Extra visit to Pawon and Mendut tempe located near by and are believed to have been built on one straight line with the Borobudur. The journey then continued to Dieng Plateau pass through dramatic street between two soaring sky mountains of Sindoro and Sumbing. Dieng is located in the Central Java’s hinterland on 2.000 m elevation. The area is dotted with Hindu-Buddhist temple ruins and several calderas of an extinct volcano. Surrounded by jagged, mist shrouded mountains and local potato plantation provide travelers more refreshing look of Central Java. Lunch served at local restaurant before return to hotel in Yogyakarta.
DAY 07. PRAMBANAN PLAIN – MERAPI VIEW – YOGYAKARTA CITY TOUR - DEPARTURE (BL)
After breakfast, depart tour to Prambanan Plain visiting main Prambaan temples compound and several other temples such as, Lumbung, Bubrah and Sewu temple. Next, continue trip to King’s Boko Palace temple located near by Prambanan main temples. It is a large complex of ancient building (period of construction not yet identified) situated on the rocky hill surrounded by countryside area. Tour then continued by visiting Kaliadem village on the southern slope of Mt. Merapi at 5 km distance from the summit. Kaliadem itself is famous as a good spot for Merapi volcano viewing activity. Drive back to Yogyakarta town to visit Sultan Palace, Ngasem Market and Tamansari. Extra visit to Batik center and silversmith in Kotagede to see both products being processed. Back to hotel, check out from hotel and transfer to Yogyakarta airport. End of service.
