Early morning pick you service at hotel. Start full day tour by driving 42 km NW of Yogyakarta to reach Borobudur area. Upon arrival tour to Borobudur temple. It is a vast Mahayana Buddhist monument in the form of a pyramid mandala. Borobudur temple was built around 800 Ad by the Syailendra dynasty and abandoned shortly after completion. It covers an area almost 1.5 ha, with central dome almost 35 meters above the base (Source: UNESCO). Extra visit to Pawon and Mendut temple located near by Borobudur before proceed to Kaliadem village located on the southern saddle of Merapi. Here visitors can observe closely one of the most active volcanoes in the world. As it was reported, the recent activity or Merapi during October - November 2010's eruptions has vomited at least five million meter cubic volcanic material inthe form of sand, stone and ash. Pyroclastic flow (hot cloud) is one of the most dangerous effects of Merapi eruptions. During the recent (October - November 2010's eruptions it self), the number of area around he volcano as far as 15 km in distance mostly have been destroyed and forced thousand local people to be evacuated to the safer place. Trip then continued to Yogyakarta town,visiting Sultan Palace, Ngasem market, batik and silver industry. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Next,depart to Prambanan plain area (situated 17 km east of Yogya), known as the biggest single concentration of ancient site ever found in Indonesia. Last object to visit will be Prangtritis beach area 930 km south of Yogya). Late afternoon visit to the area enables visitors to see sunset while enjoying the refreshing view of sand dunes.
